Objective

Investigations in two candidate sites (Forsmark and Laxemar) for a geological repository for spent nuclear fuel in preparation for the formal safety assessment
in 2008.

Achievement in 2006

Facilia´s contribution has been in the assessment of the behavior of radionuclides
in the Biosphere and the radiological consequences of potential releases. Dose conversion factors were developed to estimate dose to the public from long-term release to the landscape.
